The lights of Christmas guide us
Though the mists of time may hide us
They awaken long lost memory
Of how our Christmas used to be
Of stockings filled and wrapping bright
Of sleigh bells and enchanted nights
Of family and Christmas cheer
Of looking forward without fear
Though older now, we turn our face
Towards that far enchanted place
When looking back we are beguiled
By life through the eyes of a smiling child
Christmas Lights
