When the vulnerable must be hidden
The transgender swept under the bed
Their entitlement is quite forbidden
An uncomfortable truth killed stone dead
When science-based seems like a curse
And diversity causes us fear
To say evidence-based feels perverse
As cluelessness stops up our ears
When the foetus of hope is hung on the rope
Of ignorance foul yet persuasive
Then comes the day when it’s truthful to say
That stupidity is all-pervasive
